Meet the Artist
Hi! I'm Jenny, the artist behind everything you see here. I spent the past 11 years working as a labor and delivery nurse in the hospital. My pottery business grew out of my love for birth. I am proud to say that I was the first one out there making and selling placenta mugs! I love creating pieces that speak to the owner and remind them of the beauty and magic of birth.
My husband and I live on a 5-acre homestead in Strasburg, VA with our 6 cats and chickens. I am a mama to baby boy Zeke. We lost our sweet son at 36 weeks to Trisomy 18. He has become the reason I continue to do what I do.
I am a huge advocate for physiologic birth and absolutely love supporting families through natural childbirth. I'm probably one of the "crunchiest" nurses you'll meet in a hospital setting. One of the most important parts of my job is advocating and empowering the people I care for. I recently left the hospital setting (for now?) to pursue nurse education and am currently finding my footing in that world.
Thank you for being here and for giving me a platform to share what I love.
